HeirVault
For families
Leave a copy of your will, insurance policies, and the notes your people will need. HeirVault does not draft legal documents. They claim when you can't. Your live vault is protected by end-to-end, zero-knowledge encryption.

What this is not
HeirVault is not a will drafter, trust, or estate attorney. You still need proper legal documents and counsel. What we do: hold encrypted copies of those files, plus the instructions you leave, until the contacts you name can claim them.
The path
01
Upload will copies, policies, and letters. Everything encrypts in your browser before it reaches us.
02
A tap on your cadence keeps the vault sealed. Reminders come well before anything is due.
03
Missed check-ins start a buffer first, with final notices to you before anything moves.
04
Named family members claim only what you designated for them, nothing more.
What families leave
Why timing matters
You keep a simple cadence. Miss check-ins past the waiting period, and only the contacts you named can claim what you set aside.

Yes, as an encrypted file copy. HeirVault does not draft wills or replace an attorney. Beneficiaries claim the documents and notes you designated after missed check-ins and the waiting period.
People you trust with specific handoffs: a spouse, adult children, a sibling, or an executor you already named elsewhere. Each person only gets what you designate.
No. Your live vault is protected by end-to-end, zero-knowledge encryption. Contents encrypt in your browser before upload, so HeirVault cannot decrypt your live vault. Assisted delivery stores a handoff key only for that beneficiary's handoff and is not end-to-end to the beneficiary alone.
Yes. Every plan includes a reminder ladder: pre-due, mid waiting period, and final countdown. You can opt out of optional reminders. Keep your account email current.
