Password generator

Generate a strong secret in your browser

Random passwords, word-based passphrases, PINs, and keys. Built with the same generator HeirVault uses in the vault. Runs only on this device.

Generator

Pick a type, then copy when you like it

Regenerate until it feels right. Copy stays local. Nothing leaves this page.

Runs only in this browser. Generated values are never sent to us.
Length20

Generated in your browser. Nothing is stored until you save.

Four kinds

Match the secret to the job

Use a random string for account passwords, words when you need to type it, a PIN for short codes, and a key for APIs.

Random

A long mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Strong for logins and vault files you paste once.

Words

A few unrelated English words. Easier to type or remember than a random string, still hard to guess.

PIN

Digits only, for short device or account codes. Prefer longer lengths when the site allows it.

Key

Hex or Base64 from fresh random bytes. Handy for API secrets and similar tokens.

Privacy

Client-side by design

Stays on your device

Generation uses your browser's random number generator. We do not receive the value.

Same tool as the vault

HeirVault uses this generator when you create credential files. The public page is the same math, without an account.

Store it when you are ready

Copy what you need, then keep it in a password manager or an encrypted vault. Generation alone is not storage.
